Pythander : The Plucky Python

In the heart of a hectic city, where skyscrapers reached for the stars and the streets full of citylights there lived a python named Pythander. Unlike his fellow pythons in the wild, Pythander had his home in the forgotten corners of the urban landscape. 

Pythander possessed a unique gift : The power of hypnotism. Pythander had the power to hypnotize those who gazed into his alluring eyes,  bending their will to his own. But despite his hypnotical abilities, he had a deep sense of loneliness, yearning for connection in a world that often seemed indifferent to his presence. 

One night it so happened that when everyone was a sleep beneath the blanket of stars, Pythander sensed danger lurking in the darkness. He slowly started to head towards the area where he sensed danger. 

As he entered into a dimly lit street, he saw a small girl who was kidnapped by a kidnapper. Pythander slowly went towards the kidnapper and in the blink of an eye, he coiled himself around the legs of the kidnapper, sending him crashing to the ground with a startled cry. The knife in the kidnapper's hand clattered to the pavement as Pythander tightened his grip. His hypnotic gaze made the kidnapper to go into a trance-like state. 

As the threat neutralized, Pythander went towards the girl and made her ease herself. Soon her parents came searching for her and as soon as the girl saw them she ran towards them and hugged them. Watching this Pythander had tears of joy in his eyes. By the time the girl saw him, Pythander slowly disappeared in the shadows of the night. 

But the night was not yet over for the Pythander. As he made his way through the city, he encountered another soul in need of his aid. 

This time a jewellery shop owner was surrounded by three goons with guns in their hands. As the lights were dim, the police who reached there were also unable to save the jewellery shop owner from the goons. 

Pythander saw this and he went near the goons. As soon as he got an opportunity, he coiled himself around the legs of the three goons at a time, sending their heads to hit the ground. As they fell down, the police jumped in the scenario and arrested all the three goons. 

The jewellery shop owner saw something slithering away in the dark. Somewhere, he knew that the slithering thing has helped him. He expressed his gratitude towards the unlikely hero who had come to his rescue. 

As first light of dawn cast its warm embrace over the city, Pythander disappeared into the shadows once again. His heart was filled with fulfillment. Though his actions had gone unnoticed by most, he knew that he had made a difference in lives of people whom he saved, proving that even the most unlikely heroes can emerge from darkness to bring light to the world. Cheers to all such heroes. 

The Tiger King

Once there was a dense forest where many animals lived together. The forest was well managed by the king of that forest. All the animals were happily living under the reign of the king. 

The king was none other than The Tiger King. The Tiger King was hefty, mighty, and was very generous. He was muscular with golden yellow colored skin with dark stripes. He managed the whole forest without any hazards. Every single animal was happy under the Tiger King's rule. 

Once it so happened that a wild fire erupted and started spreading in the forest and all the animals in that dense forest became anxious and started running here and there causing much chaos. As soon as the Tiger King heard about this, he went to that location and asked all the elephants of that dense forest to assemble before him. As per the order of the Tiger King, all the elephants assembled near the location of the fire eruption. As soon as all the elephants of that forest reached there, the Tiger King ordered all the elephants to go to the nearest river and collect water in their trunks and ordered them to sprinkle that water on the fire. All the elephants did the same and soon the flames extinguished and the fire stopped spreading. In this way, the Tiger King with the help of elephants was successful in putting out fire in the forest. Watching this all the animals in the forest cheered for both the Tiger King and the elephants. 

A few days later, an eagle was resting on a tree and suddenly it heard some noises. To know what was going on there, it flew to a nearby tree from where the noises were coming, and saw few people were cutting down the trees. By seeing this incident the eagle got petrified and went to the Tiger King to tell the whole story that was going on in the woods. The eagle told the Tiger king that, the woodcutters are totally destroying the forest by cutting down the trees. By listening this the Tiger King got ferocious and ran towards the forest area where the woodcutters were cutting the trees. The Tiger King just went there and roared loudly. By hearing this all the people who came to destroy the forest flee leaving their tools behind. Those people never dared to come to that forest again. This made all the animals feel proud of the Tiger King. 

One day, it so happened that, a monkey was jumping from one tree to another tree and suddenly it slipped and fell in a quick sand. The monkey became anxious and started shouting loudly, but there was no one nearby, so no one heard it's voice. The monkey kept on shouting and screaming, but no one could hear it. Suddenly, the Tiger King felt as if someone was shouting in the deep woods. So, without much delay, he ran towards the noise and saw a monkey which was slowly sinking in the quick sand. The Tiger king searched here and there but he couldn't find anything that would be useful for him to help the monkey come out of the quick sand. After looking here and there for some time he saw a huge banyan tree nearby. He went there and stood on his two hind legs and grabbed one of the strong aerial roots of the banyan tree and cut it off and took it near the quick sand and he threw it with force towards the monkey. The monkey couldn't catch the aerial roots for a few times, but finally the monkey caught hold of the roots. The Tiger king from the other end held the aerial roots with his strong teeth and pulled the monkey out of the quick sand. After coming out of the quick sand the monkey felt joyous and showed his gratitude by hailing the name of the Tiger king. 

During the reign of the Tiger king, everyone in the forest felt blissful. There was no word of discontentment anywhere throughout the entire forest. Each and every animal felt safe and had a contented life without any sorrows because of the presence of the Tiger king in that forest. 

Habitable Planet

 Long long ago, so long ago, nobody knows how long ago there was a planet in the far galaxy which was highly developed. Some of the aliens living in that planet started doing some experiments and thought of creating some new organisms which were of the size of their toe nails. They feared if they create bigger organisms than them then those would be a great threat for them. So they created small organisms almost the size of their toenails. They created various organisms of different sizes and shapes and named them Dinosaurs. These Dinosaurs were all of different sizes and shapes, but none of them exceeded the height of the toenails of the aliens. 

After inducing life into these dinosaurs, the aliens wanted to place them in an environment far away from their planet as they did not want to see any adverse effect being caused by these dinosaurs to their planet. So, they started searching for a suitable planet for these dinosaurs. They placed few dinosaurs in one of the planets where they couldn't survive even an hour because of the gaseous elements present on that particular planet. They placed few in another planet where they started floating as the gravitational force of that planet was not suitable for them. They went on searching for a suitable planet for these dinosaurs, but they couldn't find one. After searching for many days, they could find a suitable planet for those dinosaurs where they could breathe fresh air, walk freely and can survive easily without much hazards and the aliens started placing all the dinosaurs in that particular planet. 

Days went by and the aliens used to frequently visit them to know whether they are surviving well or not on that planet. 

As the aliens felt bored creating the same old organisms, they thought of creating variations in those dinosaurs. The aliens even went a little further and created herbivorous and carnivorous dinosaurs. Later, they created aves and reptile dinosaurs. Day by day they were experimenting on new things and they were creating new dinosaurs every other day. 

Many years passed by, and the population of the dinosaurs increased to a whole new extent. The aliens were also not giving up on their experiments and this ultimately lead to the imbalance in the ecosystem. Because of this one of the aliens got anxious and reported this to the alien chief. 

The aliens, who were doing all these experiments, came to know that the alien chief was been informed about their experiments. So, without wasting much time they started attacking the planet with their weapons which looked like huge asteroids. They almost killed all the dinosaurs with their asteroid like weapons, but few of the dinosaur kinds like rhinoceros,etc survived those attacks by hiding themselves in a safe place. 

As soon as the alien chief became aware of this deed by the experimenting aliens, he ordered all those experimenting aliens to be imprisoned. 

As most of the planet was totally ruptured by the deeds of the experimenting aliens, he promised himself to make the planet habitable again by ordering some of the finest aliens to rebuild the planet. The finest aliens rebuilt the planet again but they were unable to create the dinosaurs. The finest aliens made the planet a beautiful one and left the planet and none of the aliens from that highly developed planet never came back to this planet ever again. 

The planet, with the rest of the organisms on it, continued to be habitable for the future generation of organisms. Since then many organisms have evolved, flourished and later diminished. But the planet still continues to be habitable even after facing many consequences, and the name of this planet is the planet Earth. 

The story of the Bed, the Bedsheet, and the Pillow | Bedtime stories

Long long ago, so long ago, nobody knows how long ago, there were three friends who always used to quarrel with each other. They were, a bed named Ted, a pillow named Willow, and a bedsheet named Bridgette. 

The three of them always used to quarrel with each other. They used to start their verbal fight in the morning which used to continue till the late night. It seemed that they had no other job other than quarreling with each other. They knew that they had to live together with each other throughout their life, but instead of being friendly with each other, they used to fight everytime. 

Ted, the bed, always says that he is the reason behind the sound sleep of the people, it's not the pillow or the bedsheet. He also says that he is very spongy and comfortable unlike the other two who are not spongy and comfortable.

Willow the pillow says that she is the reason behind their sleep, it's not the bed or the bedsheet. She also says that she is very soft, and when people sleep on Willow they immediately go to sleep. 

Bridgette the bedsheet says that she is the reason for their sound sleep, it's not the bed or the pillow. She also says that she is very smooth and when people sleep on her they immediately go to sound sleep. 

The three of them keep on boasting themselves, they disagree with one another, and this goes on everyday till the late nights. 

One day things went too far and they started pillow fight, I mean a physical fight, which involved pillow, bed, and the bedsheet to fight with one another. The pillow smashed the bed and the bedsheet, the bedsheet covered the bed and the pillow and rolled them down. The bed which was stronger then pillow and the bedsheet, threw them towards the wall. The tap which was on the wall was hit by Willow the pillow and it started leaking and within few minutes all three of them got soaked in water, but still they did not stop fighting. They punched each other, they kicked each other, and they smashed each other. Finally, they fell on the ground and started panting. As they were totally exhausted, they dragged themselves towards their own places and settled down there. 

Late that night, a young lad who was little bit tired and sleepy came to sleep. As soon as he hit the bed, he felt that the pillow was as hard as a rock, and the bedsheet was scratchy, and bed felt like as if he was sleeping on a rough ground. 

He immediately got up from there, and angrily used abusive words on each of them and went to sleep on the floor. As soon as he slept on the floor, he felt rather comfortable than those three, and immediately had a sound sleep. 

Ted the bed, Willow the pillow, and Bridgette the bedsheet, saw each other's face and since then they never ever fought with each other, as they realised that boasting oneself always keeps them away from reality and they have also realised that everyone has their own flaws so, one should never point out others flaws instead they should try to eradicate their own flaws. 

The Traveller and His Pet Bird

Once there was a traveller, who liked to travel a lot.  He wanted to go to every corner of the world and has almost covered traveling half of the world.

Wherever he used to go he used to take his pet bird with him. He travelled many places and wherever he used to go he used to take selfie with his camera and used to send them to his friends and relatives. He enjoyed traveling. 

He went to many places like Eiffel Tower (Paris), Leaning tower of Pisa (Italy), Pyramids of Giza (Egypt), Tajmahal (India), etc,. He went to all these places with his pet bird and he almost covered each and every corner of the world. 

As the days passed by, the traveller became old and stopped travelling. He was very much contented with travelling part of his life, as he enjoyed it thoroughly. 

As he was happy with the travelling part of his life, he wanted to know how his pet bird felt about all these days of travelling to various thrilling, adventurous and exotic places they have been through. So, he asked his pet bird how it felt. The pet bird with its sorrowful voice said,"What is the use, you always kept me in a cage". 

THE DAYDREAMER

Again, Mintu starts day dreaming in the middle of the class. In his dream, he is a hero who is saving a girl from being teased by the street rowdies. He is fighting with three to four rowdies at a time. His one kick is making them fly in the air and fall on the ground like a football. His punch on their faces is making their faces wiggle in slow motion. He defeated everyone in the street fight and he headed towards the girl, went on his knees and started proposing the girl with flowers. Everything was going fine, but suddenly a huge asteroid from nowhere fell on him. He shook his head and found out that it was not an asteroid, it was a blackboard duster which was thrown on him by his teacher. Now he realised that he was not on a street, fighting with bad guys, but was in his classroom. He rubbed his head and thanked God that it was just a duster and not an asteroid. 

"Hey, Mintu are you day dreaming again, stand up on the bench till the end of my class", said the teacher. After a few minutes, the bell rang and recess started. Mintu along with his friends went to the school playground and started playing volleyball. After playing for a while he got tired. He then went and sat under a tree. 

While watching volleyball, he started day dreaming again. Now he is a pirate, who is fighting with his rival pirates. He is fighting with swords and guns and everything that he gets in his hands. He killed all of his rivals and headed towards the captain of the rival pirates. He started attacking him, the captain of the rival pirates was unable to defend his attack and finally got killed. Mintu was happy on killing him and he raised his sword as a sign of victory, but suddenly a huge Cannonball hit him on his head and he woke up from his dream. The Cannonball which hit him was nothing but the volleyball which the kids were playing during the recess. 

The school bell rang and Mintu along with other children went to his classroom. The class started and his daydreaming also started. His teacher was explaining about the oceans, now guess where his daydreaming took him to................ 

He was in the middle of an ocean on a huge ship. He, along with his girlfriend were standing on the ship with their hands spread apart. They were enjoying the moment but suddenly a huge iceberg from nowhere hit the ship. The ship broke into two parts and people started falling in the ocean. These two also fell in ocean, but luckily they were able to find a wooden piece that was floating on water. They went towards it and Mintu helped his girlfriend in getting on that wooden piece. As the water was cold, Mintu told his girlfriend with a shivering voice that, "my love, you are the most beautiful and the slimmest girl I've ever seen in my life. The wooden piece that you are on HAS ENOUGH PLACE FOR BOTH OF US, THEN WHY ARE YOU OCCUPYING THE WHOLE PLACE, MOVE ASIDE". She startled and moved aside at once and gave him space to sit on it. Just within a few minutes a rescue team came from a nearby place and took them to their city. As soon as he lands in the city everyone around him starts clapping. In the crowd, he hears someone calling his name Mintu.... Mintu.... HEY MINTU. He got petrified and woke up from his dream and saw his teacher calling him. She said, "Miiiintuuuuuu, are you daydreaming again? Come on stand up on the bench". 

He stood up on the bench and after a few minutes the school's last bell rang and everyone left for their houses. 

This used to happen daily in the school and he used to have different dreams daily. Even at his home he used to see different kinds of dreams.

The story of a new train.

This is the story of a new train which entered the platform for the first time. The train looked spick and span. The seats, the berths, everything from engine to last bogie of the train was new and dust free (from last bogie, I remembered that the last bogie of the train is always marked with the letter 'X' which indicates that it is the last bogie and that there will not be any other bogie attached to it after this). By looking at the surroundings, the train got petrified because everything around it was filled with garbage and dust. The nearby trains were hideously laughing at her, for which it couldn't understand why they were laughing at her.

As soon as the train was on the platform, the passengers started getting inside the train. By this time, everything was extremely clean. As the passengers started settling themselves in the train, the cleanliness started to disappear. The train started observing people, who were destroying the tidiness of the train.

It saw people, who were writing rubbish on the seats and walls of the train. They were even plucking the sponge, cotton, and springs by cutting the seats with blade. When asked by the other passengers that why they were cutting seats, those fellows who were cutting the seats just replied that they were just doing it for fun.

The train was also filled with paan and gutkha (tobacco products) spitters. These spitters have not only spitted on the platform, but also started spitting in the train and started making the bogies look ugly. They don't even realize that if they are spitting from the windows on a running train, the spit is falling on the other passengers through the other window. The only thing these spitters know is that to put paan and gutkha in their mouth and spit it out after they thoroughly chew them. I don't know why they chew it because anyhow they are spitting it out. So, what is the need of buying these tobacco products at all.

Along with these spitters, there were these cigarette smokers, who were creating pollution clouds in all the compartments wherever they are seating. Other people started colliding with each other because of invisibility due to the smoke created by the cigarette smokers throughout their compartments.

Few people in the train were so dirty that they don't even flush the toilets. They feel as if they are the only people in the whole world who are in hurry and they don't even have time to just push the flush button. These kind of people make the whole train smell bad.

Finally, there were these ugly people who eat peanuts, bananas, etc., and throw the peel all around the place. Even if they eat a small chocolate, they throw the chocolate wrappers here and there. They want everything around them to be untidy and dirty. They make the whole place simply look like a garbage.

By the time the train reached it's destination, it realized why those fellow trains were hideously laughing at her. It never expected that it would become so dirty in the first journey itself.

Most of the people think that railway personnel are not maintaining the trains properly, but if everyone stops behaving badly and starts keeping the surroundings clean then everything would be neat and clean, as after all "Cleanliness is next to Godliness".

Spending a day without my smartphone (Phonelope)

One day it so happened that early in the morning when I woke up, I found that my smartphone was not working. So, I took my smartphone to get it repaired. The repair shop owner told me that it will take one whole day to repair it. So, I gave the phone and told him that I will come tomorrow to take my phone back. As soon as I left the repair shop, I started missing my smartphone. As I was so much attached to it that I even named my phone as, "Phonelope (Penelope)".

I was feeling as if I lost one of the essential parts of my body. I was so much addicted to Phonelope (my smartphone) that it became very difficult for me to spend even a single second without it. My day used to start with it and used to end with it. Yeah, it is so much true, I used to wake up only when the sweet music of the alarm from my smartphone used to wake me up and I used to end my day by setting alarm in my smartphone before sleeping.

I was never departed from Phonelope, my smartphone, since the day I bought it from the store. But on that day I was feeling a little bit frail without it. I was feeling as if one of my vital organs is missing.

I always had my Phonelope with me, I never left my home without it. I never wore a wrist watch as Phonelope was with me to show the time. I used to set the remainder and used to forget it, but Phonelope used to remind me of each and everything. I was able to see the news from various parts of the world with the help of Phonelope, just by clicking Google, YouTube, etc,. I used to receive information of each and everything that is going around the world. But, on that day, I felt as if I was detached from the rest of the world.

To fan the flame, people started asking me the time, started discussing about the breaking news of the day, and few others started asking me the score of a football match which was telecasted on the same day ( I was missing the match like anything).

On that day, I was totally lost. I found myself totally disconnected from the outside world. I had no clue of what was going around the world. I was unable to call my friends or family, I was not even able to text anyone.

On the very same day, I went to a grocery store to buy few items and found that, my mathematical skills have totally reduced. When I was in my high school, I was able to calculate the total amount of all the items which I used to buy, but on that day I realised that without Phonelope I cannot even calculate the amount of two to three items which I bought at the grocery store. Before Phonelope entered my life, I was easily able to connect with everyone by one way or the other, but on that particular day I found myself lonely and bored. This proves that how much I got addicted to my smartphone.

I went to sleep very early on that day, but woke up very late the next morning, as I did not set any alarm. As soon as I woke up, I got freshed up and went straight to the smartphone repair shop to know whether he repaired my phone or not. The shop owner completed the process and gave my smartphone to me. At that particular moment, I felt as if a dear one of mine has returned from ICU (Intensive Care Unit) that too happily and without any complications.  So after that day, I took good care of Phonelope and never left it alone even for a single day.

Various kinds of annoying people on road

Now-a-days, roads are fully filled with idiotic people. They won't let others reach their destinations on time. One of these kinds are the people who suddenly appear from nowhere in the middle of the road, as if they are some time travellers who took break from time travelling in the middle of the road. They can cross the road at the zebra crossing or they can go to the other end through foot over bridge, but no they enjoy reaching the other end only from the middle of the road, where vehicles are speeding up.

I saw many people while driving show the right indicator and then go to the left. It seems as if there is no coordination between their mind and body or they might be some kind of lunatics who have least knowledge about road sense. These people think of something and do something else. These kind of people are the major reasons for the day-to-day increase in road accidents.

One of their kinds, are the people who come and smash the rear end of the vehicle when while one is waiting for his turn to go at the traffic signal. Already the guy is waiting there as if he has been there since ages and to add salt to his injury the foolish guy comes and hits his vehicle's rear end. The main target of this foolish guy will always be the tail light and the other parts come as substitutes to it.

Spitters are the people who continuously spit on the road while driving, they don't even see whether there is any one around us or not. Mainly, the spitters from the buses are awful. The paan eating spitters are the king of the spitters. They think that they are making some art on the road. I think the government should start preparing red roads instead of black roads to satisfy the paan spitters, because the main reason for the spitting on the road by the paan spitters is to paint the road red with their spit because I don't find any other reasons for them to spit on roads.

Some other kind of people are the occupiers who want to occupy the whole road. They won't let the vehicles behind them to overtake or to go ahead of them. They go to right when one is going to the right side and they go to left when one is trying to go left side. They are very rash drivers. They think that driving on roads is like driving on the race track and they start competing with each and every vehicle on the road.

Most of the times, these kind of people forget that due to their negligence others may even lose their lives. They least care about others lives. All these kinds of people should change their behaviour so as to reduce number of accidents that are occuring on the road because of their idiotic and annoying behaviour.
